Damn, what all damage did it do?

I almost got mine impounded, as well as bout 5 other Subarus the other day for taking a cruise, and some hunter got pissed off and called game warden on us. Almost had to go to federal court to explain why we were out driving on the old abandoned air strip.

it messed up the lower part of the front lip, the side skirt and alignment. my abs light came on and c. diff failure. but i researched and c diff failure can come on with abs light so as long as the diff. is good im good.

i love those long roads in the valley. im from san benito but moved away. good roads to open up on are sam houston going to la paloma and 77 business go to LP

Im originally from PA. We have a Rally America sponsored race there every year, the oldest on schedule. If you care to research it, its STPR. Right now im living in NC, until I finish with military. Will be going to South Texas when I get out. Thats where my wife and in-laws live. Beautiful area.

So im just seeing where all the subarus are down there. Maybe have a get together or something. I know here in NC, we have a get together every week, plus going to someones house every other night to build this or that. We did a cruise this weekend, almost ended in trouble. We have dyno day coming up, drag event, auto cross, and rally-x. Pretty much an event every other weekend.

I was hoping Texas would be the same fun.

Hey everybody,
My name is Dan, and I currently live in the Mission/McAllen area. I just recently purchased a 2010 WRB WRX, and I know just know of a couple other subaru owners. The import scene as a whole is weak in the area unless you take into account the pathetic kid ricers. I think the main reason you guys down see the other wrx and sti owners is probably because they dont want to be percieved with the wrong crowd, but there are a couple of them out there hah.

ahhh the valley! I remember the nights of racing down Old military road at night with the lights off, drinking with friends in someones garage, and listening to the police siren go off every 5 mins in La Joya... damn speed trap

F--K yeah. Sounds like fun. We were actually out on old military property, since we were all military here, decided to do a photoshoot on an airstrip. One of the funnest days i had in a long time, until the game warden and cops, and tow trucks came.

Those 2010's are nice man. Well thats why I started this thread, I know there out there, but nothing formal has been started down there to bring everyone out. Hell I would hate to be labeled a ricer, or hang out with any of them. I'd rather be a..... "one man wolfpack" ( Hangover the movie)

Everyone should post up there pics. Just in case we see one another at some point in time.

Please forgive the quality of the pictures as this is really my first attempt at photographing cars. I picked up a DSLR a couple months ago and I'm still trying to get a hang of this thing. As previously stated, the car is new so it's pretty much stock for now.

Hi everyone! I'm "scotty" from edinburg...just so you get the idea who I am, I've owned an evo 8, legacy, foresterss, and tribeca, plus other misc cars along the years and have been involved with the import scene down here for years. It's almost dead down here, just a few subarus in the valley...mostly stockers n very few lightly modded. My neighbor actually still has an evo9 and an sti plus he's a cpu tuner but has given that up mostly. If you want to race look up the valley porsche club, they have a track and welcome anyone or the drag strip in edinburg. I'd love to hang out with the scooby's, but all I've seen recently is the nissan guys at starbucks on 10th n trenton on thursday nights. Nice newer modded cars! Nice pics danny! Oh yeah, we gotta go take night pics at the convention center with JC. Did you ever see his Si pics?

Thanks for the compliments . I used the program Lightroom to decrease the saturation of all colors aside from blue and red. Aside from that, all I did was adjust the light and shadows as well as bump up the clarity a bit. Here is another pic that I was having trouble uploading. I'm still trying to learn all the in's and out's of these programs.

LOL! Bioduck and I work in La Joya...they usually leave you alone if you stay within the speed limit... and they now have a Wal-mart nearby with more traffic lights...plus the majority of the Trucks on cruise night are the guys from La Joya...they all have stickers on the backwindows.
