So I'm trying to trade in my 08 STi for a brand new 2012 STi or WRX limited edition. My car is still under warranty, getting fixed and going bye-bye. Checked out the BRZ and me gusta ^.^ but going for a AWD turbo.

Wait, didn't you just dump a lot of money into mods?

Yea...but im freaking tired of this 08 motor. So im putting everything back to stock (glad I kept the oem stuff) and trading it in. Something is wrong with it internally and subaru is fixing it. After its fixed ill trade it in for a hatch STi or WRX so I can throw my mods back on it again BUT! im thinking of selling my power mods and go the stance route. I give up on trying to be fast, until warranty runs out of course But still deciding on to get it fixed and wait for the BRZ STi or get 2013 STi. Regardless im getting a car with no more than 1-2 miles on it!!!!

Almost went with a GOLF R. But you arent able to turn off the stability control. So its basically an AWD car meant to go straight...which is really lame in my book. Plus I think 37k is way to much for it.

I'm gonna wait a little to see what else comes out before I mod mine.

It being a new product/ platform, everyone is throwing out some amazing products for these cars. But with most first gen products, their pricey

I agree, patience is good. I'm sure they will come out with better stuff. Like Perrin did with the wire in the inlet to keep from sagging. But they are producing great products for these cars.

So got rid of my 2008 hatch and got me a brand spanking new 2012 STI. Heated seats, bluetooth, and STi short shifter installed. 6 year warranty and dont plan to void it. If anybody is interested in a 18G-XT turbo, 1000cc injectors and cobb intake let me know.

I'll take the Cobb intake! Does it come with the box? Pm me a price.

And let me see about the other stuff. I'll have to see what other supporting stuff i'll need, and about the tune.

Satin White Pearl, Im diggin the color. Getting tons of compliments. Im thinking coilovers and the wheels are alright for now. kinda growing on me. It was nice to have the gold bbs wheels but I figured id rock something different for a bit. My plans are are probably some mudflaps and the SPT coilovers. Didnt get the 6 year warranty for nothing Oh and debadging minus the STI of course.

Don't trunk swap with him ^^^ I will trunk swap with you, haha... Where did you purchase your car at? They had a SWP STI at Bert Ogden I actually was interested in purchasing it but, was told since I left a horrible review when I bought my WRX that they didn't want to sell me another car. haha..
