Your RC car sucks at snow drifting.

On public roads.

EDIT: To be somewhat constructive, it looks good picture quality wise.

No, HD devices require at least a Class 4, this is Class 2 mini SD in a adapter.

The pre-HD version had these awful random buzzing noises, the audio was just totally useless and annoying.

Now it sounds almost like hip-hop.

I'm not sure which is worse.

I have a couple of the HD kits on the way in the mail for testing...can't wait.

The audio is much better on the HD model...the main issue of the original and wide standard res models is that, when mounted properly, you get a lot of audio transfer through the system...so it will pick up every little sound that is being transfered from whatever the camera is attached to.

The only reason I haven't picked one of these kits up is the lack of LCD.

How did you get the camera setup, without being able to view what the camera is viewing while it's mounted?

That's my only problem with this kit. Otherwise it takes great video and is CHEAP! especially with all the added protective accessories.

Check out the ContourHD. It has lasers for alignment and IMHO is a lot easier to use than the GoPro.

But, that's the closest thing to a proper viewfinder I've seen on a POV/helmet camera like this.

Done a ton of comparison between the two. The picture is much better on the GoPro. The ContourHD has a better lens angle for most things, but the colors are washed out, and low light performance doesn't seem as good either.

I brought to all the forums I hang out at to show ppl how the GoPro records smart a$$, un-like you I don't need love from the net

GoPro says that they will be releasing an LCD attachment in 2010 as the new HD setup has an expansion port in the back, it may be cool, we'll see.

We picked one up about 2 weeks ago. The quality is great, but the audio is pretty much worthless when it's mounted outside and your drive at anything above 35-40mph, and that's even with the waterproof door on the back. Oh and the door latch already broke so it's pretty much useless right now till we get a new one.
