Talking good street tires for rallycross???

What are some good choices for SS class rallycross tires?

Rally tires are illegal and snow tires are illegal, I understand.

TIA

Rally Tires aren't illegal, they just bump you up into the GT Class. I run Rally tires on my 1986 GL and I do quite well within the GT class.

But anyway, I hear very good things about the BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDWS.

hmmm ... I'm not certian that's correct ... a key difference between production gt and open here is tires as well as displacement ... rally or mud/snow tires on a legacy, impreza RS or wrx .... and you compete in open ...

for what it's worth ... the fastest time at the Hillsboro, OR rallycross in prod gt this last month .... a wrx wagon with ... would you believe .... stock RE 92's ... ...

I'm running firestone SZ 50 EP's ... and they work very well on dirt, gravel and mud ... as well as autocross ... very good and durable performance summer tire ...

but the loose nut ... ... behind the wheel ... ... is what usually makes the most difference in getting around these courses quickly ...

I've got BFG KDWS on my Eclipse. Haven't done too much with the tires since I haven't had 'em for long. They do have quite the deep and aggressive tread. It'd be interesting how they'd work in dirt/mud. I might swap 'em over to the Impreza and put the RE92's on the DSM.

PS: I'm picking up the Impreza today! Anyone want to buy an Eclipse?
