Moore Performance:
Although all of the chat has been around the boxer four cylinder engines, have you had any ideas about builiding us six cylinder folks an exhaust header and or a complete system to replace the factory unit's? I own a 2011 3.6R Legacy Limited and I have not found anyone that is currently making a replacement exhaust header or a complete system for the six cylinder Legacy's.
Thanks for your help sir!

Pete.

Unequal length ones would sound insanely awesome. me and my brother built a set for his SVX before he totaled it.

Not sure how well H6 UEL would sound but the EL tuned ones are a sure way to cream your pants everytime you wind it out

i agree with gee-otto on his first post. But another thing would be to just make it so the UEL headers bolt right up to the stock cat but ALSO add hp or dont lose any at all. i havent done much research on headers but the research i have done is that you will have to spend around 1200 dollars just to get the boxer rumble and also losing hp because uel headers lose hp unlike equal length. another thing is that i think this should be for the 06+ models. they have plenty of after market products for the 05 and older rs's. but they have barely anything for the 06+ except for like a lightweight pulley and axleback? and very slim choices at that.

Well....after way to long, the PnP Hydra still will not work and even though it is sold for the 99 RS it does not work, period!! Were picking the car up this week from our tuner's shop and pulling the header to start production. We are planning to go to a Megasquirt EMS after the header has been jigged and were ready to produce. I'm unhappy with the Hydra product at this time and the way it is advertised, but I'm tired of holding us up from having these headers made. This weekend I'll work on a group buy and post the link in this thread for mild steel and stainless steel versions.

Have other 99RS folks had this much trouble with the Hydra ??

Nice options (mild and SS) what options would owners have for tieing the header into their stock CBE ??

Funny enough if you listen to forza motorsports legacy 3.6l you can hear the boxer sound very clearly mixed with an almost v6 sound, it does sound good though

I dont like Xbox. PS3 guy here. the SVX had a boxer rumble and a V6 mix going. it sounded sick. it was slow as a Civic but it sounded so evil people left it alone.

I'm interested as long as the cats don't throw a code. I'd love a direct bolt up to put in front of my full stainless borla catback! PM me if you'd like me to test one.

currently we're producing the first production models of our V2 turbo header, but now that we have the car back in our possession we're going to get rolling on building the jigs and creating the first production sample. I think Jay might be getting this one for some abuse and his $0.02, then we're ready to go. I wished we never went to a Hydra ems on this car...it's backed up this process by months!

Were also in the process of combing our install and fab facility under one roof. It's been a long process finding the right location, but we have it narrowed down and by April 1st (more likely march 1st) we'll all be under one roof!

Not sure about the H6 option yet.....I'd like to just get this header into production before we take on any more long term products, but it could be an option in future.

Brz...yes, we plan to get one asap and we will be developing parts for them as soon as they come out.

they were actually equal length headers with UEL runners from the headers to the turbo. still sounds like UEL headers though
