super excited for this. have boosted RS and want something that isn't $1000 like TWE.
I agree that another well made and effective header option is awesome but a TWE is not $1000. I bet you could get one for less than $800

And, depending on variations in the exchange rate and to where it needed shipped, less than $700.

Tom's doing himself a BIG dis-service by having out of date, falsely high pricing on his site. Then again, he's busy making race cars, so if he has all the work he wants, it doesn't really matter.

if you want other companies to continue to support the n/a market--say, the company whose name is in the header--then how about not making this thread a rah-rah speech for the venerable competition?

You're going to have to get the Moore Performance headers shipped over too. Regardless of what you buy, it's going to be expensive because it'll be made in low quantities and imported across a big puddle.

What they actually charge changes all the time. They might even make them on demand so materials + labor + profit = your cost.

I wasnt trying to be a dick when I said call them and find or yourself.

fair enough. just not so easy from aussieland.

for the most part, TWE does make them on demand.

I'm pretty sure the price fluctuates with materials costs and the Canadian dollar.

if all goes as planned, it will be dyno'd within the next two weeks.

here's the good thing about how we're going to dyno it: Baseline, then removal and install of the new header....and re-dyno all in the same day. This should help keep things more consistent.

Btw, the baseline will already include the Moore Performance cat-back exhaust, which made a nice chunk of power all by itself

This is very interesting, I'm looking forward to seeing the gains and price of this. I was looking at headers to be one of my first mods since I'm in love with the boxer rumble sound but it seemed everywhere I turned there were horror stories about them not fitting and/or cracking. Plus it's nice that you're local because I'd definitely be willing to drive the hour and a half and save shipping on some high quality parts Good luck
