Thumbs up Radiator Cover for 2.5 RS from Primitive

I installed a Radiator Cover from Primitive yesterday. Basically it's a baffel that prevents air from going over the radiator. It covers the space between the upper support and top tank making the air go through the radiator. The foam strip between the two on my car started coming apart. So for me it served two purposes. One it makes the air go the right direction and two covered up the weather stripping that's coming apart.

It looks like this:

Nice part and Paul at Primitive is always good to deal with.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for the part?

It's on his site at 71 USD. I don't like to put prices on our site because they may change. There is a link to primitive at the above link though.

Bought the same thing about 2 months ago. Great product and great service. Helluva lot cheaper than the Zerosports version.

Peaty, just wondering if you used primer before spraying on the enamel?

No I didn't use any primer. I should have though. I did spray the cover down with brake cleaner to remove any oil and whatever else was on there. I think the paint took pretty good though. Even on close inspection it looks nice. I did something similar to an my intake pipe that is also Al (the site states SS but my part is brushed AL)and the paint on that has held up very well over the past few years.
