Default Akuma Motorsports Nissan R35 GT-R 3.8L 732whp/713wtq!

Today is a very exciting day for the GT-R community as well as us at Akuma Motorsports. We are presenting you with our Full Race Turbos for the Nissan R35 GT-R. These turbos are aimed for those who want balls to the wall power! We just finished tuning the car and made a whooping 732 whp/ 713 wtq on our Mustang dyno (consider a factory GT-R only made 388 whp/399 wtq on our dyno) . These numbers were achieved on pump gas @ 23psi!! We maxed out the 800cc Deatschwerks injectors and needed a full 3" intake as we maxed out the MAFs with this turbo set up. This particular GT-R came to us in conjunction with Bulletproof Automotive/ GT-RR with the mentality of being the King of all GT-Rs. It has been around the country doing countless shows including SEMA 2008. But since then we have made extensive changes to the tuning and power output. The mods list is posted below but beware its a long one.

WOW, nice! Are these the best numbers a GTR has put down (I don't follow them at all)? Are the turbos still in stock housings...? I'm assuming they aren't but you never know.

I love how you still have a pretty good power band. That means you must go with bigger turbo(s) and make it a dyno queen (jking)!!!

No one is ruining the thread chill buddy.
Lets see that overlayed a 35r evo or sti on race gas.
I want to see how tiny it will be in comparison.

Haha we tried that a while back with a gtr that made nowhere near this power and we got flamed because everyone thought the Sti graph was fake. Believe me it wasn't... These cars just make our mere mortal vehicles look feeble!!

The turbos are still stock housings, just like our road race series turbos. This version however is much more worked, basically near the limit of what the stock housings will hold. However, our turbos make the same if not more power than our competitors and still spool quicker!

The car is an animal! It is much different than the other build, where the otherone was purpose built for the road course, this was built to be an eye catcher with the power to back it up. Well, clearly those goals were met!!

There is more left in the turbos but the trans, motor, and fuel system will be on the verge what they can handle. But that is ok because the car pulls like a NASA space shuttle!

Thank you for the kind words everyone, the support is much appreciated!

Thank you,
Evan

Thanks guys. We will see the trans let loose at sustained abuse. The way the car is tuned, load is based on Theoretical Pulse Width, so if the larger injectors are not scaled right the trans is effected. Some other cars have seen worse trans issues, but it can be due to launching or improper tuning...or both...lol If anyone is really interested, I can go into further tuning details.

The car is a great project for us. The problem with these cars...if I can say that...lol, is that 21/22PSI is the most I would safely run on the stock motor, the trans needs to be fortified at 700+HP/TQ. We just need to get a built one with the PPG gears and really see what she does.

All in all, I agree this is a very fun car. I have to be honest, it does not have the raw feel of a 550HP EVO or STI though. This car has no drama when yoyu get on it and the gearbox is almost too easy to drive(I find myself missing the clutch). I can not believe I am complaining...LOL

Thanks again! We will keep it coming this week. We have these turbos on a black car, and a meth kit and turbos on a second. The shop STI is just working out the boost controller details, it will be up very soon.

John

...Oh yea the turbos are stock housings...massively ported. 2 new wheels, etc.
