Question Best Turbo Kits???

Hey I just got a 2000 2.5RS and I am wanting to throw on the ultimate turbo kit. I have heard that Vishnu, Ludespeed, and FAT have good kits but what is the best kit.. Money is not really an object either.. I just came from a pimped out Integra w/ 356whp and i NEED THIS CAR TO BE JUST AS QUICK OR FASTER. Help me out with any info what so ever. I am very new to the subaru scene. I did see that FAT has a twin turbo in the making... does anyone have any info on that? Let me know that would be awsome.

"DUDE"..... I wouldn't have posted if I hadn't already done a search.. People give their opinions about kits they already have NOT what the best kit, or what they think the best kit is..

DUDE..... we probably have about 100 posts of people asking what the best kit is, obviuosly you're going to get nothing but peoples opinions. and obviously if somebody has the kit, then they are going to recommend you get the same kit.

if money is no object, get a vishnu kit.

but I'd personally recommend a ludespeed kit, because I have one.

Whatever kit you have is the best.... or the worst depending on if you like it.

It's like asking someone if they like a dollar bill over a dollar coin over a dollar in quarters over 2 half dollars. They can all do the same thing, there are just other inconviences between them.

You decide what you want, then go from there. If you want full-on bolt up with no hassles... you're not going to find it in the Subaru world anywhere. And don't listen to those TEC-II/Vishnu people, those aren't exactly the easiest things in the world to tune either.

yeah, after looking at revisions... I am double thinking stand alone. Personally I think the best kit is a kit done customly for yourself. It si everything you want and nothing that you don't want it to be.

I'll likely go with the Ludespeed Stage2 unless I can come up with a used Minnam kit. Ludespeed offers pretty much everything I was looking for along with the fuel rail upgrade. Really if money were no object I'd say take it to some really serious shop and set them loose on your car to design a custom setup.

The best kits are the ones that resemble Frankenstien's monster. Bits and pieces of parts from all over and a few that you fabricate yourself.

And, there is nothing wrong with my kit that a coupl'a hundred hours of R+D can't fix...

(For people who are not sure what DrNick is talking about, he is refering to my TecII install/tuning)

sweet I'm a lamer too, you said yourself that you found people posting opinions about their kits that they bought. can't you form your own opinion about which one would suit your needs and wants from that? or do you want us to spoon feed you some more. real question get real answers, but we've all heard that question about 100 times. ludespeed, FAT, vishnu, custom, it all depends on what will suit YOUR needs, and well..... we don't know you.

The BEST turbo kit? That's easy....a STOCK WRX has the best Turbo kit PERIOD! Though maybe my...ok no maybes....sure my car can outrun a WRX, but in the long run that car will probably outlast mine. So if you want the BEST kit sell your car and buy a WRX. Otherwise welcome to the expensive world of turbo charging a Subaru..the world were money leaves your pockets and parts break faster then a EVO beats a WRX in a race

Great... nice welcome guys. Ethan i think he got a RS for a reason, it looks decent. All i can say is do some research before you get a turbo kit. Once you put it in you wont regret it. Who wants to break rule #14!?

what a wrx jocker! how about keeping the car and dropping in a JDM engine?

the best turbo kit is one i own so you'll have to settle for second best because THC style is often imitated.... but never duplicated...

PS. i have a Ludespeed kit... Tom is one of the best vendors ever.
