I bought my first WRX 4 years ago about 6 months before my 18th birthday. I paid for it with my own money and modded it with my own money. I did all of my own modding to save some money and learned as much as I could. I started out easy but eventually got it pretty heavily built. I got it paid off and decided I wanted an RS. I bought this car January of 2009. It was a total on an auction that a friend picked up for me. I am doing almost all of the work myself with the help of my girlfriend (aside from motor build and paint). My plans have changed a lot over the last year but for the most part the car is as I had hoped it would be. Here are pictures of my old WRX and my RS when I got it:
