Default Am I the first in Houston with the JDM projector headlights?

Just got these babies in today! Bad ass. Got it from Options Auto. I'm not sure if it is RHD or LHD, but from what everyone says JDM are RHD. What is the difference between LHD & RHD?

Does the RHD throw the light more to the left or right? I know LHD throws it straight ahead.

Can't wait to put them on the ChronicWRX! Got bodykit pieces on the way and some more JDM stuff.

yours should aim slightly to the left whereas the LHD would aim slightly to the right.. but who the hell cares.

how much did they cost?

$720. I wonder if I could manually adjust the aim to aim right so it seems more like a LHD. Physically you can't tell if its LHD or RHD. Maybe RHD just means that they are adjusted by means of the adjustments to aim more on the left? I'm trying to say that there is no physicaly difference between LHD and RHD just the fact that they come aimed differently from the factory. Could this be a correct theory?

yeah they look the same, just are aimed a little different, play around with them, you might make some progress.

btw: 720 is a good price, and these are the real deal JDM STi

Default lhd vs rhd

the difference is in the beam pattern. the LHD will aim slightly to the right, to keep the light from being directly in the sight of oncoming traffic.
you may see some high beams flashed at you.

yup, there is a long post about that somewhere.

basically, you can't adjust it out. The pattern itself is different.
$720 is a good price. I LOVE those lights. It's on my "To Do" list.

Man if only I could stop with the power mods...

how much is that 8000K HID kit gonna cost you?!

$720 is a good price for the JDM lights, since they're like $1200 for the HID STi lights. Congrats on the purchase though.
