Default Almost got another Damn Ticket, lol.

Well I think its about time I get rid of my G-Tech, because every time I go to use it I get a ticket. I was even saying this to BlackKnight eailer today, kind of ironic.

Anyways, I decided to drive down towards Girdwood at the "new" section of the highway and practice my launches, and just stay out there for at least a hour. So I am about halfway there, crusing at about 70, and my Radar Detector starts going off, I tap the breaks but it was too late. It was a Tropper, clocked me at 71 in a 55. But he was pretty cool, didnt give me a ticket or anything, I was just really polite to him and I think that helped alot. I really just have to start driving the speed-limit or there abouts from now on, lol.

Got question. I think I am going to go get a straight pipe made from my "race-pipe" to my exhuast to get rid of the resonator tomrorow. Anyone recomend a good place? Also does anyone know if any of the Shops will even touch my car because I dont have a Cat? If not anyone recomend a good place in Wasilla or Palmer?

Midas is where kevin had his done. He had the sound dampener removed on his Jetta awhile back. It shouldn't cost much, i would say about $40 - $70.

Try the place I'm getting the WRX exhaust made. It's called Alaska Welding and Muffler in Moutain View. They do alot of Imports and would be willing to do it. I haven't heard good things about Midas.

What kind of 0-60 and 1/4 mile times did you get out of your GTECH.. Just curious. On my girlfriend's Ford Probe GT I got
0-60 in 6.7 seconds and 1/4 in 15.2.. I'm mostly wondering how close your times are to the track times.

Yeah I think the one-eyed guys name is Robin or something like that.

They are a pretty good shop and they did the whole exhaust on the RS for me, and did a good job I think. They have good prices are quick to do the work.
