My new shortblock, 2.5L sti (Closed Deck), along w a few other things, going to be tuned @ YIMI

Stimo got his 2250 miles ago (3 weeks), & my brother kenny was the first to have it back in like March,

this graph is on our neighbor buddies AWD dynojet dyno "Stack Performance" they mainly do 300m's/jeep srt's/ & all the other srt's/challengers/chargers/ acr vipers/ shelby mustangs & other muscle cars, why awd? not sure

after pulling off the intake, noticed there was a rediculous amount of broken & chipped blades, so this graph was while the turbo was done for, on 91 oct w meth, also this tune wasn't the tune of the century or anything, & the motor was just barely broken in, going in for new tune w/ ALOT of new mods w/ YIMI as stated above

^Right, but they're reinforced with billet aluminum, so even tho stock sleeves its reinforced so they dont oval/crack and you're able to run alot more boost safely.. And you dont have to worry about sleeves slipping/dropping, not being machined correctly, etc.. Plus you get more surface area with the headgasket so it seals better and its alot harder to blow a head gasket.. People have said they have cooling problms but i live in socal and havent noticed it running hot once, not to mention they mainly build buggy motors tht are only run in the hot ass desert and they said they've never had cooling issues so so far so good!

I cant wait till u and KB'izzle get back out to the track. It would be sick to have 1 or 2 rotated 30r sti's in the 10's.

FYI, Stimo can shift too........trust me.........I've rode in his car when it was the stock block 30r. If his car is capable of 10's.....he'll get it there.

I shift like epileptic in a room full of strobe lights.

Nice Engine! I have a random question that you might be able to answer. If someone sleeved a 2.5 block with thicker aftermarket sleeves, then closed the deck like above. Would this (billet plate) solve the problem of sleeves sometimes dropping in subaru motors?

^^Never thought of that, good question.. I think sleeves dropping has something to do with expansion rates of the different metals though, i could be wrong though so somebody please correct me if i am, but interesting idea..
