Default Friend just blew up his transmission

Well it got stuck in 3rd gear. Goes to the dealer and the dealer syas 1st,3rd,5th and reverse gears are all messed up, so is the shift fork. Cost 3200 bucks because he has no warrenty Oh well guess he learned his lesson by launching at 6000+ RPM

So how many has this happened too.

Default He should NOT pay for a rebuild -

Not with stock parts from a dealer.

Get a tranny from a junk car for $1000-1500 and perform the swap yourself, or get an aftermarket gearset.

I did i 5000rpm clutch dump in the wet and it just spinned at all 4 corners then i chirped 2nd just a little.
Thats a good way to stress 1st and 2nd gear.

Quote:
Yeah i kept hitting reverse instead of 4th, on the GTi its different.
Thats probably why reverse is broken.

Quote:
But yeah all i was doing is taking every gear to 7200rpm
That can't be good either.

If you abuse the WRX enough of course the tranny will break. Poor WRX. I'm glad the dealer didn't honor the warrenty after all that abuse to the car.

This sounds like the next episode of "When Boyracers Attack!"

Cashmoneyukr, you and your friend are too young to have cars this nice. I suggest buying a fleet of '91 Cavaliers until the boyracer is out of your system.

Me and my friend switched cars for 2 days he gets my golf and i get his 02 WRX 5 speed. I did i 5000rpm clutch dump in the wet and it just spinned at all 4 corners then i chirped 2nd just a little. Man the WRX is so much fun, the whole day i was going side ways losing control and stuff. Plus the WRX feels more solid then my GTi.

Because he told me i can do what ever i want except launch it but i still launched it.
Ask me... you should be helping him pay for it... selfish bastard..

:monkey:

Care to contest that? Bring it..

Yep thats true. Ok this is what he did to my car. He went 137mph because i have a limiter stock. He had sex in my car ganna kill him He burned out, pulled my E-brake. Redlined every gear too.

Thsi is what i did to his car. Went on a open grass field and did 10 prefect donuts Did some nice drifts too. Lost control in the wet about 6 time. But i know how to do it now. Went only 120mph on his car. Almost crashed into a cement wall by the church at 11pm because i was trying to do donuts on dry ground and i did 1 circle and thats it and almost hit the cement wall . Yep i had a good 2 days Now i want a REX but i will not be doing that stuff. Only on ice and thats it.

Oh BTW What is the top speed of a WRX. Because me and him went past 140mph just a little past. But today he said he went about 146-150mph because it was getting pretty close to the Miles thing. Yep he's a crazy fvcker
You BOTH do not deserve anything nice.... Selfish bastards...

I onlu launched his car twice, he launched his car more times then you even think, his tranny should be blown a long time ago. He only did dumps. He switch's at 7000rpm every single day for as long as he had his car.

He probley doesnt deserve a car like that. But i never do stupid **** to my only go to legal drags to see what i run, thats about it.
