Lucero…one of my childhood friend's band….they tour 200+ days a year for the past decade. Roy is the drummer….been listening to them quite a bit lately. This song struck me in a moment of epiphany this week. Thought I would share it. Hope you enjoy.

A lot of you rib me about my age…I'm old enough to take it….wise/senile enough not to give a rat's ass either. I hope you are all as fortunate as I have been…to develop your talents…hone your skills..to live as richly and fully as I have my 46 years.

I hope you all get to achieve "old age". It is a great ride.

Namaste.

These guys typically make dance/trance music. Found this acoustic set pretty good. All of these song started out as trance.

Blackmill, plays liquid dubstep. It's actually quite relaxing...

Just listened to the whole thing. Very nice! I just discovered this week that I really like liquid dubstep and liquid DnB! Been listening to the app Digitally Imported Radio and it's been blissful.

It is. I enjoy them and Oceanlab for similar kinds of music.

But what I've been listening to most of this week is the Glitch Mob's latest album, Life, Death, Immortality:
. It's a departure from their last album and EPs, as this one features more vocal tracks than before, but I still enjoy it.

Liquid dubstep is very relaxing to me anyway. I love sitting in a nice, comfy chair and snoozing to such music.

best version I could find….
Kick ass song….

"You know I'm on a slick trip, I'm always ready to kick ass
Up on the stage I'm in a rage, I'm havin' the time of my life
Yes, indeed, what a sweet, sweet life it is

Until some loco two-bit floosie with a Louie Le-Strange
Ain't good for nothin' but trouble
They're just two fools livin' up to their names
And now it's startin' to rain on my parade

You know there's nothin' like the real world to get me down
There's nothin' like the world outside that turns me upside down
It makes me feel like I'm headin' down a one-way, dead-end street

[Chorus:]
There's no way out, no way out of this living hell
No way out, no way out, unless you walk heaven's trail
No way out, no way out of this living hell, livin' hell

You know I had it made in the shade, thinkin' that it's not so bad after all
That's when I woke up, smelled the coffee, I'm back where I started again, yes
And now it's pourin' rain on my parade

No there's nothin' like the real world to get me down, no
One is there to lift you up, one to drag you down
Now, don't you see that we're heading down a one-way, dead-end street

[Chorus]

[Solo]

There's no way out, no way out of this living hell
No way out, no way out, unless you walk heaven's trail
No way out, no way out of this living hell - I guess I'll live in hell

[Chorus]

Yes, it's a beautiful thing

You know, I'm on a slick trip, I'm always ready to kick ass"

Just got word this morning that I passed my national certifying exam. I'm eligible to apply for a medical license in all 50 states….good for the next decade.

Default Pharrell Williams - G I R L

Good album if you're into Pharell and like the song "Happy" from Despicable Me 2 (Academy Award-nominated). Here's a reggae-influenced song with Alicia Keys.

The album opener "Marilyn Monroe" is safe, typical Pharrell fanfare, which isn't a bad thing at all. Funky, groovy, poppy and fun.

It's a sad day in Metal history. The frontman for the band GWAR was found dead.

RIP Dave Brockie, aka Oderus Urungus
