Default previous owner said 255whp does this seem right?

What it's got: Power Enterprise 1820 turbo, APS dr500 FMIC, APS 65mm cold air intake, oil catch can, 255 Walbro fuel pump, Perrin fuel rails, Deatch Werks 650cc injectors, Turboxs turbo back exhaust, Perrin uppipe.

The car hits and boosts strong at 20psi, does 255whp seem low? or is this what i should expect out of this car.

Thanks!

It seems around the right number, oranges to apples for instance my 2.5l td04 at 18 .5made 241 hp. Turbos tend to support the same amount of horsepower regardless of displacement. its the torque that varies greatly.

I don't have any personal experience with the Power Enterprise 1820 turbo, but with all the supporting mods, even with the 2.0L engine it should be well in the 300whp range. The previous owner may have asked for a more conservative tune to allow the tranny and engine to last longer. That is what I actually did with my tune. They initially did an aggressive tune in my car, almost maxing the injectors out and everything and were able to squeeze if I remember almost 290whp and 320tq, but I told them to back everything down since my car is my daily driver and needs to last, so I have a conservative map that is now running only 250whp and 275wtq.

Thank you Gausy, that is actually what i wanted to hear, i had suspicions it was set on the more conservative level, and that is where i would like it, it will be my daily and plan on driving it until 200k

This seems fine, if it was pulled on a true mustang dyno with no calibrations or correction factor's tinkered with.

I've seen 3-4 similar setups do 255-265. Im sure the car feels great.
