That's a good list, and pretty similar to what I want to run. I need to feel out the new job to see how much freedom I'll have to take leave for the events that are during the week. Starting with the Audi Club event next month - not sure how keen they'll be on me taking a 1/2 week off just a few weeks after I report, but I've had great events with the Audi guys when I was on this side of the country before.

Fairly fast. I'd recommend the MazdaDrivers event over the NASA event. You'll get a lot more track time.

My bro-in-law plans on being at the March NASA Comp school. We were ready for the one in February but couldn't get enclosed trailer out of unplowed neighborhood. If you go, he's running 240 w/ Skyline swap.

If you are going to the MazdaDrivers event, you can also sign up for the Audi/BMW/Mercedes Multimark event at VIR on the June 10 and 11th. Then you can stay for the mazdadrivers event. 4 days at VIR! The only downside is getting home afterwords, I am always so tired driving home after instructing for 4 days in a row.

^^^ this sounds like fun. Trailering the car, so maybe the drive home won't be too bad - just boring!

Last year I think some people signed up less than a month before the event, but since they've said this might be the last year they do the Grand East course, I really want to make sure I get in.

I know what you mean.
I'll drive 24hrs straight to Canadian rallyraces; make pacenotes for 3 days; then rallyrace 3 days, sometimes till after midnight; then party; then drive home solo 24 hours straight. I know all the drowsy driving techniques.
