Just a quick note regarding the addition to a new event at at new location...

The first event at the new lot will be

Saturday July 3rd

James Wood HS
161 Apple Pie Ridge Road
Winchester, VA 22603-4309.

This site is a very large lot and should be worth the drive. We will add the event to the reservation system shortly.

More events at James Wood will follow.

Just throwing this out there as an option, but any chance we could start this event maybe 30 minutes later due to the extra distance people will be traveling?

If you ever went to an event at Summit Point it is about the same travel time I'd guess. Shorter perhaps due it being easier to access.

Bump for tomorrow!! I will be there until at least 3 p.m. with the Miata if anyone wants a ride. I don't think I have any co-drivers either.

The supposed course map looks really fun!

Oh and BTW the suxass got into the 11's. But also ran a trap speed of 124mph. With a trap like that we may be able to see 10's.

CDC is back at Hylton HS in Woodbridge, VA on Saturday July 10th. This lot has a terrific surface and plenty of trees for shade.

Then we're back on Saturday July 17th at James Wood HS in Winchester. This lot is super large, fast, and worth the drive (and close to those that live West of DC).

Also with the added events, we are increasing the number of events dropped from 4 to 6 for the 2010 points season. This should add more flexbility to participants interested in the points running.

Hope to see you all there.

Ed

Nice!! I love this lot!!! This one of the grippiest lots in the area that groups are using, if I'm not mistaken. The weather should cool down as well. I'm definitely bringing the Miata this time (barring any unforseen misadventures or parts breaking down).

I'm bringing my 17Kish Dunlops out of temporary retirement. Because I am too lazy to change tires two days in a row.

Woo!
