Talking DIY Bugeye Grill - opinions/comments welcome

Just finished my DIY bugeye grill. Thanks to "Thrasher" (NASIOC member), for some helpful tips and for the grill mesh measurements.

Here are the ugly stock bugeye grill before pics:

And IMO the much better after pics:
Sorry for crappy pictures, currently dont have a license so cant really bring the car to any better spots (other than my driveway) for better pics.

Let me know what you all think.

Thanks.

i did the same to mine. if you fill in the back of the supports for the logo with bondo, it makes it sturdy. i didnt like how mine flexed.

Looks good! I hate the stock Bugeye grill. Never got around to buying a Liberal, which is the best IMO.

Next thing i want to do is koji my headlights, but im just kind of sketching out about putting my headlights in the oven even though i know lots of people do it all the time.

Then i want to get some paint matched eyelids too.

When I looked at the "before" pics, I thought, "That doesn't look too bad. Why bother?" Those "after" pics totally have me convinced, though... it looks GREAT! Much more upscale appearance. Good work!

Yeah i thought about that. I thought it would be too flimsly for my liking without the top and bottom pillar holding the badge on. Pic for reference:
