Default 2005 Saab 9-2X Aero (Subaru WRX Wagon) - Needs Motor Work - Any Takers? Any Advice?

I have a 2005 Saab 9-2X Aero, 49k miles, manual transmission, all the options, that needs a new short block due to a spun bearing. Other than the motor work, the car is in perfect condition. It does still run and drive, but with a moderate knock. I'm not driving it and haven't since October--I have been fighting with Saab to cover the repair but they're not budging.

I bought the car 6 months ago and am the second owner. Clean CarFax, no accidents, clean title. It is currently located at Marvin K Brown Saab in San Diego and I have AAA so if it's helpful to the buyer, I can assist with towing.

It's also worth noting that it has a 6 CD changer, sunroof/moonroof, roof racks with bike attachment and factory 17 inch alloy wheels.

I have pictures but I guess I don't have enough posts to post pics..??

Hoping to get $6k. Please email me at john.w.mcpartlan@gmail.com for more info...also open to suggestions on how the hell to get out of this nightmare (I owe $10k on it and cant afford a $4.5k repair).

It shouldn't cost more than 1500 to have someone.rebuild the motor and drop it back in for you

The GOOD estimates I've received have been in the $4-5k range

How are you going to sell it when you don't have the title?

Wouldn't that be about the price for a motor swap? I'm pretty sure you can get an import shop to do this much cheaper. Have you priced it out at mom/pop shops?

Edit: Also, what color is it?

If you can't afford a 4.5K repair, but you owe 10K on it, and you're asking 6K, how are you going to get the other 4K cash to get the bank to give the new owner the title? Are you planning on selling it no title or transferring the debt to another loan/credit card?
