Default RMIC's strangest projects...

A parody of an offshoot of a parody lead to this. I got into Subarus because they were quirky, off-the-wall cars. I love projects that stay true to that. I don't think any of you have built or tweaked more weird mechanical stuff than me.

This is Dr. Greenthumb. It's an E85 and nitromethane powered minibike. I was playing with some of my green technology and wanted something as politically incorrect as possible. Putting nitromethane in biofuels did the trick, and promptly tried to kill me with a runaway bike. This needs a looser clutch so it doesn't run away at idle.

"World's smallest biofuel motor" 5cc Saito on a mix of butanol, nitro hobby fuel, and Oxytane.

FFV sleeper Subaru wagon. 300k and still runs.

FFV 2.5RS, 40mpg hwy. Runs like a top.

What weird stuff have you built than runs? Instead of making the "fastest", "illest", or "sickest" stuff I went more of a Monster Garage route with things.

Sorry, I am too trendy for a monster garage. Lance is about as close as it gets with his VW.

Let's see... Here's my version of monster garage at MMP:

I'll be stickin' one of these Diesel engines...

...into this, at the end of the 2010 race season!

Then there's the official LapBattle.com pace car!

And the mighty LapBattle.com 23cc track side mobile blender!

Is that random enough?

Will you need one of those oversized load signs when you drive?

I'm surprised you don't see more Jap diesel motors stuffed into things like that.
