RARITAN TWP. A serious one-car crash on Featherbed Lane Tuesday injured at least two people.

Two helicopters, NorthSTAR and Atlantic Air-1, were called to airlift two people after the crash, which occurred shortly after 5 p.m. on a curved section of Featherbed Lane south of Oak Grove Road, according to police.

By 5:30 p.m. emergency crews from Flemington and Raritan Township were on the scene, along with paramedics from Hunterdon Medical Center. The car, a black sedan, was sitting in the northbound lane, its front bumper on the shoulder.

Updated with names of two of the guys, hope all get through it ok. That crash damage is insane, yet the doors still look like they opened.

Wow doing 70 in a 35, pretty ridiculous. The car looks bad, but actually held up very well considering it was going 70mph + and hit a tree. That's almost always guaranteed fatal. Those 3 are very lucky to have their lives.

Wow, that was quite a crash. Hope the driver has full insurance plus more though because those 2 passengers will be filing a law suit once they get out the hospital.
