Cars & Coffee Williamsburg Saturday morning at 8AM. I'll be going to the HR Mach V caravan meetup before 7AM at Lowe's to say hello then working my way to C&C with some non Subie friends. I'm up to do whatever (cheap ) in the evening though.

I thought that was Sunday?

Well I just found out they need me at work all day Saturday so I won't be able to enjoy ANYTHING Saturday. I find it funny I get screwed at work only when I have things planned on the weekend

I might also be working on Agent15's AC and my own this weekend. Anyone can stop by if they need their AC looked at, just let me know. I'm not supplying refrigerant, just tools and hands on. (no homo)

The actual race is Sunday. They are cleaning up and setting up the track on Saturday. If that gets done early enough they will be doing a test and tune on the track (in reverse only).

I'll need to get ahold of some nitrogen for that, but if your willing to throw away a charge of refrigerant, we can check it that way too.

Fyi, if you want to do this yourself, just get a spray bottle with some really bubbly soap bubbles (dish soap works well), charge up your AC with one of those car refrigerant cans and then spray all the obvious connections and look for bubbles. Hot spots would be the high and low side connections to the compresor and the two high side connections (in and out) to the condensor coil. There are more spots, but those are the more common ones. Just trace the lines and hit up anything that looks suspecious. The lines themselves can crack and go bad too.

Just saw this update on my Facebook about the Williamsburg Cars and Coffee:

It's not too late to RSVP for tomorrow's March Cars & Coffee ~ Williamsburg event! I spoke with our sponsor & team yesterday to report my expectation number of visitors tomorrow, (150) so they'd be prepared. Justin's (JJ JITTERZZ) comments were very commendable regarding the feedback he's received from nearby Mall Shop owner/managers. Expect heightened interest from other shop owners in the coming months. This is a reflection upon everyone's personal behavior & attention to mall lot safety. I wanted to take a moment and pass the information along and personally forward my THANKS to you all.

Justin also informed me that a professional would accompany him to the event tomorrow to do a promotional video tape of our event. It's timely to coincide with the unveiling of our new lot banner created to identify our presence to mall patrons as they begin arriving toward the end of our event. I wanted to remind folks that the Mall opens as our event concludes and that our time of departure is the most dangerous time of our visit. Please use extra care when leaving.

I am personally looking forward towards tomorrow's event. Our advertising has paid off and personal goals of event participation envisioned many months ago is now closer to reality. Thanks again for the loyalty you've shown through those few cold winters months now hopefully behind us. The C&C staff and I would like to try & thank each of you personally tomorrow, please let this thanks serve for those we may miss in the crowd...

Seems like it's gonna be a pretty big day with video!!!

Off work now, so if you want me to take a look at your AC just stop by if you know where I live, otherwise PM me for directions. I'm on Armistead.

Borjaq sorry I haven't gotten a hold of you, just been really busy at work all week. I won't be able to make it out to the Mach V meet or the cars and coffee. Instead I'll be starting my AFF training in Suffolk at 9am WOOHOO!!!!

Depending on what time we make the jump and get outta there I might be able to make a dinner meet or something in the evening. I'll keep an eye on the thread and possibly pop my head in at a meet if one forms up.

No buggy, finished fixing my AC today. Dealership gave me wrong orings and their computer references more wrong orings. They had to break out the big box and found me some. Blows friggin cold now, whoo hoo!!!

I would say that I would like to join in on the fun, but I'll be pulling the engine of my new '05 STI this weekend and swapping out in my '95 GC.
