Default Sold Legacy, New car is now home

Sold my 2005 Legacy GT and picked up a silver Z. Just drove it home from Vegas. So now I have a Spec B and a Z. The Z got way better mileage then the subbie on the highway, and it is nice and quiet. I am thinking tint, intake, headers and a tune is on the agenda.

is your Spec b stock? Because a stage 2 spec B should smoke a Z any day.

No, it is stage 2.

Legacy feels slow compared to the Z. First time I floored it in the Z going about 40mph in 2nd it kicked the ass end out and my ass puckered so hard.

a yeah, I think we were all thinking 350/370Z. Z06 is a COMPLETELY different story! Those things are BALLS fast, very good buy! I want a ride.

Edit: The Z06 is my land mark. That is the power I want to make with My STi, 426whp and I will have that power. Hopefully I'll hit it now. I should find out here in a couple weeks.

It is in perfect shape. Got ~29mpg on the way home. Cruising at 75mph it is only turning 1400rpms in 6th gear. The Legacy is like 3500rpms in 6th gear. 1/2 the cylinders but they are firing more then twice as much.

Stames, if I swing by a meet you can take a ride. 426whp is a good goal. My goal is >500rwhp by the end of the year. I just saw one with headers/intake/tune do 497rwhp so that should be easy. Over next winter I'll do heads/cam and get up to 550-570rwhp n/a on pump gas. Fun times ahead.

As long as the roads are dry I'll roll it to cars and coffee this Saturday. We landed up naming all the rides at the house last night. The Spec B is Blinky. Lisas Kia is Pinky. My Aprilia is Inky. The Vette is the only choice left, Clyde.

Does that make you and Lisa Pac-Man and Mrs. Pac-Man?

'Cause that would be awesome.
