Default Best of salt lake?

I think we should make a (sticky?) thread of the various best places in salt lake. Best dealership, best place for a detail, best place for a tune, best place for parts, carwash, cup o coffee, etc. I know alot of it will be opinion, but thats ok to. I personally dont know anywhere now that cobb has closed to get a good tune, so this might help n00bs like me if this is a stupid idea, we can just get rid of it i guess.

There are a few people around that can do some open source road tunes for you. I think Turbo Lab has a dyno, but I'm not sure of their reputation, they are in Orem. Maybe someone can elaborate on Turbo Lab tuning?
Edit: Rallysport direct is a great place to get parts, and Solid Autoworks is a great place to get work done on your car.

Gregg @ Shop7 in Ogden does great open source road tunes. I'm sure people in the Ogden area will testify to that.

Don't be to sure about that. Things are happening that I am sure will surface soon... Suffice it to say come mid March a new Mustang Dyno may be running for tunes.

I don't. I do however think we should get rid of the Pirates booty talk sticky. Lame!

they do have a "store" but they don't really have a whole lot on display, I usually look on their website but then go there and make my purchases. or if you just wanted to go there and ask them about certain parts and info and such they always have someone that will help you! I don't remember their actual adress but I'm sure someone on here knows or just call them.

They have the local business by the point of the mountain. I am sure one of the rallysport guys will post an address soon. I wish they would just add it to their website.

basically if you take the 15 get off on 146th and head west, then you'll go through a stop sign and follow that street west till you get to some industrial buildings, I believe the street is heritage crest way. or something like that take a left and make your first right, follow around the corner and it's on your left. can't miss it after that haha

the actual street RSD is on is concord park dr. anyway hope that helps and I'm sure they will post the actual address now that I have found those names haha.
*edit for actual street name*

There is a killer shop in Woods Cross! Its called Rusco Inc. I work there.. so I have to say that! For real, though, we have been doing serious mechanic work on Subarus for years now. Both the owner and I are very partial to working on any Subaru, and I myself am a big enthusiast! We are also a performance parts dealer, so everything from parts, to installation, to service and repair we got it covered. We have a website at www.heyrusco.com. Its a brand new site so it's still in the works, but you can find our address and phone number on there. Check it out and let us show you how we do business!

Seems like everyone is in the business of putting totaled Subaru's back on the road. GIV auto, Zima, and World Wide Auto.

We should also have a list of don't buy places:
Rick Warner Body Shop
Any Subaru dealership for parts. Unless you like 100% mark up.
