Default AP2 to adjust rev limit?

I want my rev limit LOWER.

I've found that when rallyx, my gear ratio in the 5MT is not very suitable as I'm either bouncing off the rev limit in 1st or bogging in 2nd.

Absolute max power is NOT important to me, longevity of an engine as best as possible in this performance application is. For this reason, I'd like to "safely" bounce off a lowered rev limit of say 6200 rpm.

Would it be a possible future feature to make the rev limit adjustable by the AP2?

You can do this with AccessTUNER Race, it is not an available feature on this vehicle. You can download AccessTUNER Race for free, from our website.

Wow. That s/w will really open up a billion ways for the enduser to blow up their own car. Heh.

I'm currently running the ACN stage 1... I just want to change the rev limit while keeping everything else the same in the map (because I have no tuning skills or equipment).

accesstuner race will allow me to make my own "ACN stage 1 rev6200 map"?

For the GR STi, opening up the current Stage map you're running in AccessTuner and then going to the rev limit screen allows you to adjust it.

For drive by wire, I think (not totally sure), the lower number is when the throttle plate starts closing and the higher number is when it goes totally closed, so you could do a really soft rev limit starting at 6500rpm and closing at 7000rpm, or lower.

I changed my Valet map to 2000rpm.
