wonder how many GT-R owners would upgrade turbos considering engine needs to be pulled out!

I kind of figured that. I guess you could always use the excuse of "might as well do this or that while the engine is out". Great for business! Regardless, looks like a great project. Whats in store for the gearbox?

Hey Eric,

Fantastic documentation, and I like the engineering arrporach; amazing far car tuning has come since jetting carbs! Anyway, I had a question I hope you wouldn't mind answering.

You said the headers are equal length, but I noticed a distinct diffence in shape from the left to the right side of the engine-no doubt due to clearance issues.

My question is are the runners on the left head the same length as the runners on the right? Or is each tube just matched to the other two in that bank?

Looking forward to seeing vids of this thing in action!

each runner is equal length but bank to bank they are different. The pics are deceiving but the actual variance is so minimal bank to bank it will not effect anything.

Thank you everyone!

Eric

Nice touch on the heatshields! are they gonna be welded together eventually?

i've always wondered why header manufacturers don't put heatshields on their headers

That's what I was thinking.
