Default Having issues with DBW in my 02 STI swap... NEED HELP!

Ok so im swapping a 04 STI into my 02 WRX and it is pretty much done. Every part has been pulled from the STI and placed in the WRX including all wiring and sensors. The only issue I'm having is when I turn over the car it starts right up but jumps to 1500-3000 rpm range, different every time, then dies shortly after. Also I'm getting no throttle response. We've already removed the TMIC to see If the butterfly opens when the car idles, which it does but barely and won't open any farther when the pedal is applied. Im guessing it has something to do with the DBW controller on the pedal assembly but not sure. Any trouble shooting information or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

the immobilizer shouldn't even let the car start without the key to match.

I know this is an old thread - dunno if you got it worked out.
It cannot be the immobilizer if it truly is an '04 - they were not included until '05.

Let's see some pictures!
