Exclamation Reloaders: I need your help locating FP bullets!

* Found what I needed* Thank You all!

My request is directed primarily at anyone who shoots Cowboy Action (CAS), since that's who would normally buy lead cast bullets.

I am in dire need of:

.38 (.358) 158gr. RNFP, or FP bullets (Can't use wadcutters)

I've been to a half dozen shops in the valley so far that said they had them, only to find they were the wrong GR. or tip.

For those of you not quite sure what tip I need (tube loading a Winchester 1866 "Yellowboy"), Here are a couple examples.

^Preferred^

If you have these, or know someone who does, and are willing to part with them, I would truly appreciate it.

I would like to get 200-500, but more than willing to buy smaller batches from ppl if that's all you can spare.

Thanx in advance!

p.s.- Here is a bonus just for reading...

I don't see why this thread would get locked, but try some gun forums! I can't remember any off the top of my head, but I know there's some out there.

Have you tried calling Dillion Precision? If they can't help you, normally they can point in the direction of someplace that can.

hopefully you'll have better luck finding your components than I have. Primers seem to be impossible to source....

I have been scouring the S.A.S.S. Wire (Single Action Shooting Society), classifieds, etc, but no luck so far. I have found a couple of ppl selling already loaded rounds, but they are not the light powder loads that I need.

Tried Dillon, MidwayUSA, etc.- all back ordered.
Primers- My dad and I picked up a few boxes at the last gun show. The show also had plenty of powder, but not mant different types. (I got Hodgeton Clay's)
I only remember 1 seller there with RNFP, but they were "coated", and the price was a bit high. I actually intended to get some anyway, but found the 1866 Yellowboy and got too excited! Unfortunately, the next show isn't til April. Winter Range is the end of this month.

Thank you all for the input so far!

There are a few listed.

I can ask my dad in the morning. He reloads and knows good places to score that older stuff.

Cabelas was one of the places I called to see if they had anything in stock, guy went out to the racks and said they did. Got there and they only had jacketed rounds.

Thank You for asking around!

Check out Randalls at 51st and Olive. They usually have a good amount of reloading stuff.

I have heard great things about these guys.

TY for cross-posting this for me! Oddly enough, this site popped up in my search, but they didn't have the bullets listed. Good ppl there, and worth the drive to avoid shipping!

Also gave these guys a call. Very nice "Mom & Pop" business. I just bulk ordered from them since costs/shipping were so low.

Once again, thank you all for the help!
