Default free beer & pizza ;)

Hey SWIC,

I'm in need of some help. My buddy andrew came over today to help me take off my coilovers and put stocks on, finished the front.. then after getting all the rears done he basically left me. I'm way over my head nd can't seem to do it by myself. I tried for a good two hrs while they watched nd talked about COD on top of that he popped out the front axle, so I have no idea to put it back in. I really need the car for work on wedesday @ 1. Its my first day nd I have absolutely no other car to take. So if u guys can please some how manage to help id really appreciate it. I dnt wanna miss my first day.. free beer nd pizzas. Let me know.. here's my number 4805708210 oh yeah I'm in glendale/peoria.

i would be willing to do them for ya, but like ken said they are easy. only trouble with fronts is the adjusting the camber. i only get 10mpg on diesel now so i am not sure i wanna tackle a 130 mile round trip worth of fuel but i will see what i can do to help if nobody out there does anything for you.

Take pics of where you guys left off. Maybe we can guide you online. It's only a couple bolts to do this and should take only a little over an hour.

Just looked at some stockers they are offset so I think the side would matter I am not sure about the coilovers you have. Either way a good idea to switch them if they are wrong it should have it labeled which side is which. I have a pretty decent garage if you want to cruise over and switch them quick I am near Greenway and the 51. I would be down to come help if you are not to far I only have my bike at the moment and hate riding with idiot phoenix traffic.

Is it a front or rear axle? I assume rear since that was all that was done on the OP. Take your wheel off, use a jack to lift up the hub/rotor until the pressure is off the sway bar. Take the bolts out on that side of the sway bar and let the jack down. Now yank that ****er in and out until you feel it click in. Dont use anything to pound it, and be careful not to bend the metal going in to the diff.

I did it swapping my rears too. It is actually relatively easy to do. A little to much pressure and it pops out a little bit, of course on mine the strut and spring combo was much larger than the coilover so I dont think much pressure would be needed to fit a coilover in there... (couldnt even notice mine until I put it all back together and felt the diff slip and had to go get dirty again )
