Default Ferrari decides to give approved used buyers a two-year warranty

Ferrari

has decided to give Approved Used buyers a two-year warranty on selected cars as standard from now on. To be covered by the factory-backed scheme, these cars have to be up to eight years old and bought through official dealers. All V8 and V12 Ferraris are covered, including models such as the 360 Modena, F430 Spider, 430 Scuderia, 550 Maranello, Superamerica and the 612 Scaglietti. Once approved, the car gets a 190-point inspection and mileage check. These cars would then come with a verified Ferrari service history and a minimum of 24 months’ warranty cover and roadside assistance.

Don't their cars already come with a 2 year 12,000 warranty from brand new already? Not sure what that says about the factory's confidence in the durability of their cars... Especially when it comes to the new California, which they claim can be a daily driver..

I am curious as to what the mileage allowance is on that extra 2 year warranty they are offering on the used cars..

"these cars have to be up to eight years old"
that means they may warranty their cars for 10 years or 10,000 miles , whichever come first.
