Default EQ Tuning: - 2009 WRX Simple Setup, Great Power!

This is an 09 WRX we tuned last week that made some very impressive power with a very simple setup.

Event: Custom Tune/Road Dyno
Location: Equilibrium Tuning - Fairfield, CA
Ambient Temp: 52 degrees Fahrenheit
Elevation: ~180ft above sea level

Car: 2009 Subaru WRX Sedan
Tuner: ED @ Equilibrium Tuning
Peak HP at RPM: 289whp @ 5800RPM
Peak Torque at RPM: 306ft-lbs @ 3700RPM
Target Boost: 18.5psi peak

- Invidia Catless TBE
- Walbro Fuel Pump
- Hallman Pro RX MBC
- EQ Tuning Custom Tune

Here's the chart:

*** Standard Dyno Chart Disclaimer ***

This software reads low and should be compared to the lower reading mustang dynos. Here are some proven numbers and trap speeds for reference:

Stock WRX - 155-165whp
Stock STI - 215-225whp

265-275whp - 107-108mph traps
300-310whp - 112-113mph traps
325-335whp - 115-116mph traps
380-390whp - 122-123mph traps

Thanks. I guess I should have put "REALLY Simple Setup" . We have another 09 WRX coming in next week for an E85 tune. I'm really excited to see what that will do.

Read the rules guys, if you aren't a nasioc vendor/manufacturer you are only allowed to post your own personal vehicle. I'll admit that I haven't paid enough attention and have let this slide longer than it should.

Vaus, please do not post any more customer vehicles until you or someone at EQ Tuning contacts Matt A either by PM or at matt@nasioc.com in regards to a vendor account.

'09 WRX's are making 165whp? That much loss...? that's 100hp less than the crank HP numbers.

That's correct. The 2.0l WRX's make 155-165whp, the 06-08 WRX's make about 170-180whp and the bone stock 09 WRX's are making 215-220whp just like STI's.
