Default Anybody else not like drag racing?

Oops, should have titled the post "anybody paranoid to drag a WRX".

With all the broken gears and trannies in the tranny section, any of you paranoid enough *not* to take your car drag racing? I'll admit it's really the only reason that keeps me from going to a drag strip.

Too bad the road to kincaid park wasn't one way without any people on it. That's the kind of driving I'd love to do. Anybody know a place like that? Where you might spin off a few drifts? I've just built it up in my mind that a WRX wouldn't be wise to drag, given my financial situation and the glass tranny.

Hmmm....need a project car....

Actually, it's the first light heading west on Tudor. It's after the curve where Muldoon turns into Tudor. Take that left. Follow that road up the hill and it ends up in a new subdivision of houses. I think it is called Campbell Airstrip Road.
