Default Looking for your opinion on Mod Help past Stage 2 Protune, etc.

Im running approx 310hp/350tq with the following mods on my 07 STI Limited:
DW850cc Injectors
Catted Helix Downpipe
Perrin Catback
Gruppe S Unequal Length Header
K&N Typhoon
Walbro Fuel Pump
Protune

I really dont want to change turbo's as this is my daily driver and my tuner says the reliability issue comes in to play when you change turbos. Should I go EWG on this set up, Front Mount Intercooler, or Meth at this point in my modding bug? I just want something that will give me the most bang for the buck..i feel these are next in line.

Your opinon is greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

IMO front mount AND meth would be nice depending on how much you want to spend. that would give you about 20% more HP 25% more TQ from what i read.

Of the options listed, the meth kit will give you the most power.

Between the meth and the stock turbo, I'm not sure there's any point upgrading to a FMIC. The FMIC will cool the charge a little better, but meth will cool it a lot better.

That said, I don't see how a modest turbo upgrade (HTA 68, 20G, AVO 380, etc) would be any harder on your car than running similar power levels with meth. Personally I'd rather (I do) run a bigger turbo without meth instead of a smaller turbo with meth.

But the price of a new turbo is three times that of adding meth to the VF39 isnt it?

well your in PA, so theres lots of E85 stations. that alone would be worth 30-50hp. id upgrade the stock 2-port ebcs, to a grimmspeed 3-port and retune to maybe 20-21psi. uppipe and light weight pulley could also add 5-15 hp and there cost is nothing in compairison to other upgrades. tune and see what you get, if your still not happy try a FMIC then. after that your only option is bigger turbo backed down to 18-19 psi or meth.

edit, ive seen 09's with all your parts plus the 3port at 20psi on 91 with an equal length perrin header shoot from 330tq stock header to 385tq. EL may make you happy also

Depends on the turbo and the meth kit. Price some of them out (include installation costs if you're going to have a shop do it) and decide for yourself, there are tons of options for both, but I think 2x/3x is only if you're looking at very inexpensive meth kits and expensive turbos.

BCS on the stock turbo at your boost level is a waste of money and waste of a tune unless your running a turbo with an IWG over 22psi, at least in my experience.
Meth.
E85 or meth would be great and a set of EL's will fatten the powerband up, add some tq and possiby some hp.

well ive seen people having issues around 19-21 psi on stock turbos. there only $100, better safe then a headache at the dyno! he's at 19 now and with e85 he could go to 20psi so why not spend it.
