Black, like my soul.

Default Would replacing my helper spring with a stiffer tender spring make my car ride better

"Cheap" coilovers, running 8k/6k setup with helper springs. Its starting to get annoying. Its a bit too firm for daily driving.

Would swapping out the helper springs for a tender spring soften it up a bit?

Default

Nope. Problem is actually more in the lack of travel and damping. Can't fix that without getting something else.

You could replace the springs with softer ones, but it won't affect the ride quality much if at all.
