Wheels are rated at about 28lbs a piece.. so they're definitely heavier than stock.. But I'm not too worried about reformatting it for that purpose alone. :\

id reckon to wager your buddy w/ his 104 trap and if he improved his driving, it would have been a lot closer. goes to show ya lighter weight and one less shift(actually its an 08 so he prolly doesnt cross the line in 5th anymore) + driver mod ftw!

these 09+wrxs are nothing to be scoffed @. id be pissed if i had an 08 and couldnt break 12s w/ stg2 power.

Yes, my buddy has room for improvement, and I was definitely expecting him to pull better times considering he's at 300whp or so.

I'll edit the original post to make mention of those items.

The wheels are XXR 962s.. 18" cheap as hell lol. Paid about 500 brand new for all four. Running 235/40 Nitto Neogen tires.

Yeah. with tires, though lol. So that's why I guestimated about 28lbs per lol. I'm hoping to go with some Advan super ver 2s within' the year or so.. REALLY want those!

its not about just adding the rims on, its about following the rules and doing what the moderators ask in the sticky for posting in here

The 09 came with the 08 strip, I suppose?? The only difference I know of from 08 to 09 (cosmetically) is the 08's rear valance strip was painted, on the 09 it's black, and the front grill was plastic squares on the 08 and black mesh on the 09.

I didn't really launch it hard.. I pumped the gas from about 3500RPMs to 4000RPms, let off the clutch halfway until I felt the car roll off, then completely left off of the clutch and was headed downway!

This is awsome. It takes stock STi's sub 1.75's to go 13.1.

Kudo's, and know you for sure have 12's in the car.

Was that a stage 2 STi going 13's.......
Ughhhhhhhhhhhh.

So maybe people can stop giving me crap for pulling 263whp on my stock '09.

Nice run man. I'm hoping to have mine run in a few months when the weather clears up, curious what I can coax out of it stock.

Breezio I am at half a mind to believe you.. Studies have shown the 09 to be highly underrated and that they were closer to 285hp to the crank..

Glad everyone is enjoying the vid!

Well, some fellows in my thread said that it should pull ~13.0's with the numbers it's theoretically putting down.
Should put your's on a dyno for fun.

Nope, but as we all know, different dyno's will read a fair bit different, and it's also pretty rare for cars to put down the same numbers with the same theoretical specs, no two motors are the same....
