Okay i've just talked to this guy he has one brand new 04 wrx one he said was goin to use but sold car before it came so my question is would it work with my 02 wrx

I tink he said the year is 02-05 it should fit then

Get the model number of what he has, and then look it up on the Cobb website to be sure. Don't take his word for it. Also make sure he has the OBD connector and the white, green, and blue plug connectors that go with it. And finally, very important, make sure it is UNMARRIED from ANY car. Be 100% sure it hasn't been connected to a vehicle even if he says it is brand new.

I believe it's the v2 ae-wrx-04 02-05 that's the model # he told me

A part number like AE-WRX-04 would be a v1 AccessPORT and that will only work on a 2004-2005 WRX. Not for your 2002-03 WRX.

A V2 AccessPORT for your model would have a part number AP-SUB-001. Those work on all the 2.0L WRX (North America).

Talked to him he said the plug is one grey and one black with red tip
