Talking I will be moving to AZ

So some of you may have seen my post asking some questions about how the Subaru thing is out there and what not.. So i made my mind out and i will be moving out there by the end of the summer i need to save a little more money and then i will be on my way to start a new life. I am excited to meet every one and go to some meet cuz the meets in NJ and Subaru thing is not much fun. There is 1 meet every week that i started that is not very big and i am ready to meet new PPL and see all of the sick cars you guys have out there ... I am looking to move around phoenix area would like to be some what close to the city just cuz of JOB reasons and what not. I am looking to get a house with a 2 to 3 car garage and a pool so i can have PPL over and pull some motors at my place and have some beer's . I just wanted to let every one know that you will be having a new member to the group I am a 21yo male and i drive a 2004 SSR WRX .. I will be coming out there this summer so i will let you guys know when i will be on my way down so i can stop by and meet every one... Thanks for reading and have a good day...

CHRIS

There's actually some damn decent pizza here, believe it or not. It ain't Jersey-good, but anything's better than the dozens of Chicago-style bread-fests that used to dominate.

Evil Imports, what's yours? I've got "New York's Finest" a few blocks from my place. It's pretty good.

Well you have alot of surrounding cities near the Phoenix area to choose from. Guess it will all depend on job location.

good luck on finding a nice size backyard in Phoenix. gated communities are overrated, code 1111 usually works anyway haha.

There's a chain out here called New York Pizza Department that actually flies in New York municipal water for their dough. It really is true.

I grew up in Clifton and Dover, then moved out to Warren County for a while.

Be sure to check out the East Valley- Chandler/ Gilbert. You can get a nice 3-4 bed house w/ at least 2 car garage brand new for 160k and up. Yard depends. We have a decent sized yard for our girls and our boxer. But there are dog parks all over also and plenty of bike/ walking paths for exercise, not to mention the mountainous areas for hiking, mountain biking, etc.

If you miss the snow, it is only a few hours away.

What do you do for a living? Got a job lined up yet? The rentals are getting pretty cheap.

I pay well under $900 a month for a 1600 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2 car garage house. It's not bad for the price. In Gilbert, you should be able to find a similar place for ~$1100-1200 a month. Get a roommate in there and you're even better off. I'd buy but I have no clue where my job or schooling will take me in the next year or two. I also don't anticipate home values going up for a very long time.
