Default Underbody/Wheel protective plastic problems?

So I had to rip the protective plastic piece that shields the snorkus and washer fluid reservoir from road debris. I forget when I had to do it the first time but I just had to rip the passenger side (snorkus side) yesterday after noticing something hanging down. I was etting up for a quick photoshoot and saw what looked like a bird stuck underneath my front bumper.

I was wondering if Iím abusive with the underside of my Scooby or if other people have had problems with these parts ripping or tearing. It could be that I'm being too agressive 'plowing' through snow when getting out of parking spots, but the bumper should take more damage than the underside plastic I would think.

Also, Iím thinking of using this as a good excuse to get a full coverage APR front lip... thoughts? What experience do people have with APR front lips/ APR in general?

If you're ripping off the stock plastics the APR isn't going to last.

Replacement fender liners should be fairly cheap at the dealership.

you mean to say that carbon fiber or whatever APR makes the lips out of is going to tear/break easier than the soft plastic that's already there (or has already been torn in my case)?

I have also had this problem with my 09. There's no real solution except for buying new liners. That's my plan at least along with a RalliTek Skidplate.

Zipties are your friends.

Or just go to the dealership and pay $30 for a new one.

yeah, i was thinking either the lip or the skidpad and I didn't think that the skidplate covers the edges where i'm seeing the undertrays are being torn.
