100% meth
perrin big maf cai

helix dp
greddy ti cbe
walbro

and lots of other stuff not worth mentioning

So, on the meth map it wasn't holding boost up top on the dyno. I guess there weren't enough fans and I wasn't getting enough air. Once we went to do the road tune though it was boosting and holding up top, so the number shoulda been better but numbers are just numbers.

Anyway, thanks to Scott Siegal great tuner.

No.

It's 407 HP / 353 Torque / 20.xx boost @ ~6050 RPM (meth)

Then the other numbers are the pump numbers at ~6050 RPM (which are not the pump gas peaks). 374 HP / 324 Tq, but not being the peaks, those are just 'some numbers'.

Grats OP. I really like to see Dom 2.5 / ATP3071 charts. Seems to me to be a good balance of spool and top end for a DD / weekend warrior.

Damn, this turbo spools just like a vf, maybe 150 rpm later, and makes 50-70 more whp. Very nice dude!

Numbers are numbers. Could care less. No idea what a stock makes on this dyno, but it is a little on the high side.

Numbers are number but thanks anyways. I'm trying to see how this turbo performs. I have a buddy interested in this turbo and he wants my input on it.

My original response was asking if it was a Land and Sea dyno then I saw the dyno name in the sheet so I edited the post. Sorry.

Its a DomIII non ball bearing, 52lb IIRC. Are this numbers at the crank?

Oh sorry for the misunderstanding. I don't know, because this dyno reads high not sure what a stock would read on it. It depends what your friend wants for his car. I like the turbo and it spools pretty quick and holds power up top pretty well. Even on a low reading dyno I'm pretty sure I could get high 300's if I could hold boost up top on the dyno. I don't think we had enough air blowing through to have it hold boost up top. Also, a little creep might help up top too

jfyi the dom 2.5 is not a dom III non bb. The dom 2.5 is a smaller compressor wheel (i think 49lbs). I ran the Dom II, which is the same compressor rating as the Dom III. Its a journal bearing unit, I made 424whp 420wtq with 28psi tapering to 24 @ redline -meth and pretty aggressive timing.

I thought the Dom 2.5 was essentially a 3071 center with mitsu 8cm turbine housing. 3071 is 47 lb/min, about halfway between a 20G and a Dom3.

Yea the dom 2.5 is a 47lb/min bb turbo. All I know is that it spools fast and feels great.

only next steps are big money.....built block, bigger stock location turbo and/or headwork.....

Thats $4500-5000 for not much gain.......

i went from the OG Green to the HTA now to the DOM4XTR and the daily drivability is not that different....

I'd say if ur gonna do that to go 60 lb/min plus or just go rotated. You'll ultimately be happier with rotated as you'll spool quicker than a stock location 60 lb turbo and make more power.

i need to get a video camera so i can take some vids on the street.
