Default 02 wrx springs on a 00 rs w/ stock struts?

Does this work? A friend wants to get rid of his lowering springs and. Was wondering if my stock ones will work on his struts and fit in his car. Any input is welcome. Thanks a bunch.

stock 02-03 WRX springs should fit on -01 struts - using the -01 rear tophats

not sure how well they work though - iirc the rates are about the same or softer esp. in the rear unless they are the wagon springs

try rs25.com for more info / pics

Used stock 2.5RS springs should be easy to find for cheap here or at RS25.com
