im not too sure.. i did a 06 sti spd swap into my 02 wrx.. and it was very simple.. but i think a 06wrx transmission have a different rear differential ratio. and they also use a push type clutch, meaning u will need the tranny.. the rear diff.. and probably the front axles which are male ends which go into the transmission.. and also change the slave cylinder and fork.. to the push type .. if i was u.. i would just get a 04-05 wrx transmission.. and the only things u probably have to change are.. the front axles the 06 are not any stronger than the 06-07 versions with the 3.70 rear diff.. plus ur bugeye has a 3.54 rear diff.. if u are concerned about breaking gears. ur only options are ppg or 6spd transmissions.. trust me go this route.. or in the future when u read this post again.. u'll be pissed.. .. i used to baby my 04 tranny..and one time tuning the car.. on 3rd gear pulls i ripped the teeth..

The '06-'07 WRX transmissions are a whole nother animal from the '02-05 (which are not wholely dissimilar from the STi transmission). I believe you will need new axles (not 100% you can't reuse stubs), new styled rear diff, new style slave cylinder, clutch fork, and pressure plate... that might be it.
