Default 09 WRX. Perrin stage 2 vs Cobb stage 2 map.

Just orderd my perrin downpipe the other day. I purchsed my catback and access port from perrin and have been running their stage 1 map for a few months now. I have never even bothered flashing to cobbs stage 1 map.

my question is, has anyone used both perrins stage 2 map and cobbs stage 2 map.

Perrin claims their map is 307 lb/ft and 276 awhp on their web site. Do these numbers seem realistic from an OTS map? Anyone dynoed on the cobb and perrin stage 2 maps with their 09.

well mostly because i got my accessport from them and i get their maps with the intake and downpipe. They claim their accessport maps make a little more power than cobbs OTS maps. Also their catback was a beautiful quality piece of art so i just decided to go with them.

i see. i also really like the fact that they offer maps for supporting mods. i believe i will also be grabbing my ap from them. i love the sound of their exhaust however im uneasy about that whistling that it can produce. do you know if they fixed that problem yet?

PROBLEM SOLVED! The issue was the flex joint and we now use an upgraded joint and no more whistle!

yes they have fixed it. I was a victim of the whistle and they sent me a brand new mid pipe as soon as the problem was solved. All the new catbacks no longer whistle.
