Recommend a track near Tokyo

I'll be going to Japan for a week with the Mrs. So I'd like to spend a day at a track there. Preferably near Tokyo but I'm willing to hear any other track experience. Also would like a rundown of what to expect over there as far as renting a track car, will I need to get an instructor, overall cost etc.

Yes please. This will be my first time going to Japan. Since they have so many tracks it would be a waste not to go to one. Hell if you know any cool go-kart tracks either I'd jump on those as well.

When are you going to Tokyo. I'm leaving tomorrow for a week. I have done go-karting in Osaka but not Tokyo. Havn't heard of any indoor tracks.

Tukuba also one of the closest track from Tokyo. It might be almost same as Fuji. When are you going? At Tukuba, there are many event every Sunday.

Around May. Can't seem to find out how to apply for a track day or even find some sort of schedule for the tracks. Pretty much sorted it down to Tsubaka, Motegi, or Fuji.

I honestly know nothing about Japanese tracks more than the Gran Turismo series teaches me.

Super Autobacs is pretty much Autozone but with actually really good aftermarket parts. Think Zero/sports, Syms, and all the high end wheel manufacturers. Also lots of cool DVDs and magazines. Definitely visit one. Look on their website to find one closest to where you're staying.

Daikoku Futo is a PA (Parking Area) on an island just north of Yokohama. Pretty much imagine a huge parking lot where the cops don't care what you do as long as you don't drift on the streets nearby (which they do anyway). Any given night you go (but especially Fridays and Saturdays) there will be tons of tuned cars, all with at least 10 grand put into them. Anything from Wangan tuned Skylines to vans with the entire back filled with speakers and TVs. It's crazy. I myself got a ride in a 700WHP R34, which was down on power for the night so only 500WHP. We still hit 175MPH on the highway. The car accelerated so hard from low speeds (60 MPH) that it felt like my chest was collapsing. The afterfires were so big that I thought someone was flashing their high beams at us.
