Default place or person to do timing belt

now that goodspeed is in north freaking Scottsdale does anyone know of a quality shop or someone who does stuff on the side over here in the mesa/tempe/chandler area? I just tipped 105k, and am starting to be afraid to drive!

Just make an appointment to wait for the car or walk around the area.If you had a bicycle with you it would be cool.

^ +1 I would do it but I am over near goodspeed. If you really want a shop talk to UMS. This is not a very hard job so if you want to save cash I would talk to kpluiten.

Yeah, I can do it. Thanks for the recommendations guys. The only issue I see is that if you're not willing to drive to Goodspeed, you're probably not going to want to drive out to my house in Queen Creek. Do you have a place to work?

I'm confident I could do it my self. My biggest concern is I don't want to wait another week to do it, but Kpluiten, if you wanna give me a hand I suppose I can just keep my miles down while I wait for the belt. I'll send you a PM about it.

you guys got any suggestions about where to order an OEM belt and tensioner?

Do the whole kit while you're in there, or if you want just the belt I am sure Jay can get one for a good price.
