Hawk HPS for DDing duties, HP+ for the autoX.

I think for DDing duties I will go with either Carbotech Bobcats or Porterfield R4S once it is time to replace the HPS. Unfortunetly they dont make Ferodo 2500 in my fitment .

stoptech, its whats up. not the bite of the axxis but about the same stopping power. the loss of initial bite was a compromise for a cleaner daily driver pad.
i like them a whole lot more than the carbotech bobcats i replaced, which says a lot because those are way <$100/set

I have HP+ on my mazda miata
HPS on my subaru and dodge grand caravan

In the past i've used Endless CC-A (dusty but great pads / expensive) , Axxis ULT (very dusty but overall great bite)

wasn't happy with posi quiet i used on the mini van.. felt like i had to apply the brakes alot earlier cuz the brakes weren't biting.

I just switched to Stoptechs, I was running Axxis Ultimates. The stoptechs have less initial bite but good stopping power, and they're a whole lot cleaner than the Axxis pads.

HPS in the front, HP+ in the rear. Not really a fan of what's going on at either end of the car.. dull and dusty in the front, grinding/squealing and dusty in the rear... with a tendency to lock up and slide sideways at every icy intersection in the winter.

It's doing what it was advertised to do, which is help the rear rotate at a rallycross... that being said, that's not what I want in a car I use 95% of the time as a DD. Live and learn.

BHP XPS in the front, Hawk HPS in the rear.

Unless you break into my garage you won't be able to find the XPS's for sale though as BHP is out of business. But Scooby921 had a great tip on these

^ Love the XPS pads for auto-x and sporty DD. I even did a track day with them. I really wish they continued with that pad compound and made it available for more applications . When I ran them on my auto-x setup they were paired with a Carbotech Bobcat in the rear. It was pretty much the same as what BD is running.

I currently use Carbotech Bobcats up front and cheap-o O'Reilly's pads in the back. More than sufficient for daily driving. I intend to run a couple of track days this year. For those I'll be purchasing a set of Carbotech XP8 or XP10 pads.
