Anyone interested in an OT rFactor/Race 07 league?

I originally posted this in the OT forum, and we'll probably use that as the area to setup everything, but I thought some people might be interested from this area. The likelyhood is we'll use rFactor since more people have that. We'll probably use the trainers and the built in track for the first series (which is just for fun, we might not even do points) and race every two weeks to avoid burnout. Any input would be helpful. We did this a few years ago with GTR2 and rFactor and it was a bunch of fun.

There are 2 (possibly 3)of us that would be interested in Race 07, GTR Evo, Race On, or GTR2. Don't run rFactor...

Yay!! Welcome to the club. Racing with the touring cars should be fun and I actually like the Formula Masters cars a lot too.

Lets plan it later in the week, that girl I was talking about last night during the race and I haven't nailed down a night we're going to meet, so I might be a slore next week if shes not free Monday or Tuesday.

I am up for Race07 or RaceOn. I can likely run a server, if needed. Set up a time/place...I will see if I can make it. Not Mondays or before 9pm Central on Tues.

GTR2 is really old. I know more people have Race 07, we are going to run somewhere tonight in Race 07. Check the thread in the OP for more discussion on it. Once we decide something I will post it here too.

Is the difference that much better?

I like the 400 plus tracks and god know how many cars I have ...1000+ with GTR2

Its much newer. GTR Evo came out 2 years ago I believe, and GTR 2 came out 4 years ago. GTR 2 never had the mod support of rfactor, so I don't see the reason to run it.

Yes, lets do a test race with Race 07, although I won't be the server because I have an interview tomorrow I have to prepare for.

I'd be interested but I don't own any of these games- yet. If you guys decide on a title you're going to focus on, I'd consider buying and participating.

Just bumping this. We had our first race in Race On yesterday with the WTCC races. First post has a schedule for our races (fortnightly). Should be a bunch of fun.
