1.8 L performance part compatibility?

i have a 1995 Subaru Impreza L w/ a 1.8 L engine and i have seen a lot of performance parts out there and some do not specify which engine it is compatible with.. is the 1.8 l and 2.2 l close enough alike that you could use most of the parts interchangably.. say like a weapon R intake system, underdrive pulleys, exhaust systems, etc etc?

if you know of parts that are compatible please post them here if u could

Also, are there any stock 2.2 or 2.5 parts that 1.8 owners like bh2 & myself can benefit from? Like exhausts, suspension, etc.?

I've done searches and results are inconclusive.

hey guys...
that's my 95 1.8L....
it has dms 50mm, a full manifolds back exhaust, with hi flow cat... etc... etc..

basically most any of the parts you find for the 2.2 or 2.5 can and are compatible!

any muffler can be made to fit - take it to a "real" exhaust shop!
obviously suspensions are swappable!
wheels are too!!
intakes.... gauges....

the engine leaves a bit to be desired, but it's a great little car!
