well if you want an 04 or 05, I recommend an 05, because of the nicer interior. The 06 will have a bigger engine and more torque, bigger brakes, and bigger wheels but it will be more expensive, and have uglier tail lights.

Welcome to Nasioc. Good luck on finding an unmolested Subaru.
And here is my usual newbie advice copy and pasted with minor editing. Here are some good starting steps to follow: * Fill out your profile information with location and vehicle info. (good job on finishing this one already) * Then, before you post much more, spend at least 10+ hours reading through Unabomber's Manifesto. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=533787 * Learn to use the search bar when you have a question. It will save you from a lot of flaming. * Please, use proper grammar and punctuation. You will get much better replies to your questions when you type like you are an educated individual. * Get hooked up with local people! They can help you tremendously! * Please don't reinforce statistics and wrap a nice Subaru around a tree. Drive responsibly on the road and enjoy time autocrossing or getting to the track where racing is legal. * When on Nasioc, you should read 100x's more posts than you make. 99.98% of the time, your questions have already been answered a hundred times over. * Do NOT post in Off-Topic for awhile. They can be very cruel there(and funny). Read there, but do not post. I hope you take all these recommendations to heart. If you do, your stay here will be much happier. Again, welcome and enjoy your stay. |

It was very difficult for me to find an unmolested WRX, so I went with a 05 Saab 9-2x Aero. I found it fully loaded, sunroof, heated seats and mirrors, plus some other niceties, for much less than a comparably equipped WRX, with a whole lot less miles. I always wanted a WRX wagon so this was very easy choice for me. Good luck finding the vehicle you are looking for.
