Default Yimi tuned VF39 bugeye

I'm happy to announce that my car is finally out of the shop. It has been a nightmare. what was to be a simple install/tune turned for the worst when the flex coupler for my Synic EL headers (worst headers ever!) unwound on the dyno causing an exhaust leak and throwing fragments into my turbine.

So i bought another turbo to be on the safe side, but he turbo was examined and determined to be fine. Obviously, the factory manifold had to be put back on, a water hose had to be replaced, and of course the ever present fitment issues are always there, but i guess that just made the outcome that much better.

Thanks to Yimi Sport in Santa Clarita for all the hard work and man hours put toward what seemed like a lost cause.

Engine mods:
-VF39 (ported/polished/ceramic coated by Grimmspeed)
-DW650cc injectors

-2007 STI catless uppipe
-Perrin afta-MAF
-TurboXS shorty intake
-Grimmspeed EBCS
-Yimi Sport pro-tune via AP

I think I saw your car whenever I would see updates on my car. How much psi are you running on the 91 map?

it was horrible. one bit of bad news after another. i did buy the deadbolt turbo, but ended up not needing it, so i'm passing it along. was your car there somewhere in the crowd?

nah, was there for the SCV meet on friday night. but i remember reading your other thread. So was the lack of boost due to the manifold leaking and about to blow?

PM price on your turbo. I was going back and forth on picking that up. He was offering a very, very good price to me. I feel like having a bit more power but don't want to deal with all the supporting mods.
